A partnership organization is seeking a passionate Behaviour Manager for the Aspire & Alternative College Hub in Leatherhead. Please note that this vacancy is not part of Surrey County Council, we are advertising this on behalf of a partnership organisation.

The salary range for this role is £35,775 - £38,289 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

About the Organisation

The Alternative College Hub houses several provisions that IET operates to support young people at risk of permanent exclusions. At the current time The IET Alternative College and Aspire Project operate within the Hub. Refer to 'About the Aspire & Alternative College Hub' on Eteach for further information.

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a highly committed, professional and forward-thinking individual as Behaviour Manager based at the Aspire & Alternative College Hub in Leatherhead.

The right candidate will have significant previous experience supporting children with complex behavioural needs, identified with, but not limited to, ASD, SEMH, SEBD; have worked as part of a leadership team in a management/supervisory role and able to contribute to the development of strategy, compliance and be committed to improving the learning expertise and emotional wellbeing of all children and young people.

The role will be for 36 hours a week, 39 weeks per year Monday to Friday, to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Passionate about inclusion supporting all students to gain an inspirational education both academically and pastorally.
  • An outstanding practitioner with high expectations of students' achievement and behaviour who is committed to providing high quality pastoral support.
  • Able to maintain and drive forward outstanding standards whilst meeting the needs of a very vulnerable group of students.
  • An excellent communicator who can work inclusively with students, staff, parents and external professionals.
