Job Title: Behaviour Assistant (Full-Time, KS3-KS5)
Location: SEN School
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay: Negotiable (£100-£125 per day)
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dynamic, flexible, and resilient Behaviour Assistant to join a specialist SEN provision supporting students aged 11-19. This is a full-time temporary role ideal for someone with strong SEN school experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, varied environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in‑class support across a range of lessons, following a timetable that may change at short notice.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to behaviour support requests from staff.
  • Deliver short‑term, targeted interventions on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis.
  • Support students on school trips, including swimming and outdoor learning activities.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a special school setting (mainstream‑only or sports coaching backgrounds are not suitable).
  • Flexibility to work with different classes and age groups throughout the day.
  • Physically active and energetic, able to support students with varied and complex needs.
  • Professional approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with, or resilience in managing, behaviours that challenge.
