A global law firm is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Assistant for a 12-month FTC in London. The role includes drafting marketing documents, creating promotional materials, and assisting with legal directory submissions. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing within the legal sector, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with the Corporate Team and support various client events.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the legal or professional services sector in a marketing / business development role.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn relevant industry jargon quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of quality delivery.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Enthusiasm and a keen willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

  • Draft marketing documents and competitive pitches with accuracy and persuasion.
  • Create and update marketing collateral including brochures and newsletters.
  • Assist in legal directory submissions and produce high-quality submissions.
  • Coordinate logistics for client events in London and overseas.
  • Work with international BD colleagues to share best practices.
  • Support media plans in collaboration with the PR team.
