Job summary

A forward-thinking construction company in the UK is seeking an experienced Multi trade Wet room/Bathroom fitter to cover contracts in Swindon and Wiltshire. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in bathroom fitting and hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £17.50 per hour, a pension plan, 28 days of holiday, and additional benefits such as a fuel card and van for business use only.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in bathrooms and wet rooms.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Experience in adapting pipework and drainage.

Responsibilities

• Strip out existing adapted wet rooms and replace with new ones.
• Install sanitaryware and shower screens.
• Adapt necessary pipework for new installations.

Job description

We have a great opportunity with a small forward thinking company, and are currently working social housing and local authority companies, who are looking for an experienced Multi trade Wet room/Bathroom fitter to cover contracts over Swindon and Wiltshire regions, on occupied and unoccupied properties.

Day to day duties

• Strip out of existing adapted wet rooms/Shower rooms / bathroom suites and replace them.
• Adapt any necessary pipework and drainage ready to receive new forma tray or screeded dished floor
• Install sanitaryware, shower screens, WC etc.
• Extra skills - basic plumbing, Carpentry, wall panelling etc.
• Multi trade skills highly desirable

Experience

• Have at least 5 years of experience of bathrooms and wet rooms.
• NVQ Level 2 in a similar trade
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to work alone or as part of a team

Pay and benefits

• £17.50 per hour - paid every 2 weeks
• Salary up to £36.400
• 40 hours per week - 8:00 - 16:30
• Van. Fuel Card
• Van for business use only.
