Job summary

SSP Food Travel Experts is seeking a part-time supervisor on a fixed-term contract until December 2026. The role pays £13.75 per hour base, plus £1.50 per hour incentive, bringing potential to £15.25 per hour. Hours are from 3am to 11pm, across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays, in busy hospitality locations.

You will lead a team, deliver great service, and drive energy across iconic brands in the UK & Ireland. Prior busy bar/restaurant experience and robust references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in fast-paced hospitality.
• Customer service excellence and guest satisfaction focus.
• Background checks required: 5 years of references and criminal records.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of opening and closing duties and daily ops.
• Lead teams through busy shifts, maintain energy and positivity.
• Deliver great customer service and address customer and team queries.
• Monitor unit performance and drive improvements.
• Experience with night shifts is advantageous.

ABOUT YOU:

Experience working in busy bar/restaurant is desired.

5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.

• Due to some responsibilities within theSupervisor role, applicants will

need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

ABOUT THE SUPERVISOR ROLE:

• Take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations while solving problems on the fly.
• Lead your team through busy shifts, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere positive.
• Inspire your team to deliver great customer service, be the go-to person for customer and team queries.
• Results-focused, staying informed about unit performance and championing improvements.
• Previous experience leading a team in busy Hospitality/restaurant is ideal and/or and if you’ve tackled night shifts before, even better!
