Job summary

A childcare organization in Strood is seeking enthusiastic and flexible childcare staff with Level 2 or 3 qualifications to work as bank staff in a nursery setting. The role may lead to a permanent position for the right candidates. Successful applicants will cover staffing gaps due to sickness and holidays, working flexible hours up to 10 hours a day as required. Safeguarding training will be provided. Previous childcare experience is preferred.

Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible childcare staff who are qualified to level 2 / 3 or above, to work within the nursery setting as bank staff, and potentially also have the opportunity to join the team on a permanent full time basis should they wish.

We are looking to build up a support team that we can use to cover any gaps that may appear in our staffing due to sickness and holidays, etc. For the right candidates, we would ask you to work up to 10 hrs each day (Monday-Friday) as and when required, assuming you have the availability to do so. We will provide Safeguarding and any other relevant training as may be required to work effectively within our brand new nursery.

The role will be best suited to someone who has worked in childcare previously who is looking to gradually come back, working around your existing commitments.
