A reputable care provider in Derby is seeking a Bank Residential Care Worker. The role involves providing high-quality care to young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD), working flexible shifts including evenings and sleep-ins. Ideal candidates should possess or be willing to complete a Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People Workforce. Qualifications

  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence with a car.
  • Possess Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce qualification or be willing to complete it.
  • Experience working in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support during sleep-in shifts and flexible working hours.

Number of Sleeps Required: Yes, included in shifts

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce (or willingness to complete)

  • You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car. 🚗
  • You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care – this is not deemed equivalent.
  • Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered.
  • You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available.

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.

You will need the flexibility to work shifts that include evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. You must be able to build trusting relationships with young people and act as a positive role model. 💙
