We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at Heathrow IRC. Heathrow IRC is based in Colnbrook, West Drayton. They support around 1500 patients, many of whom have high complex needs and polypharmacy. Within this role you will be working within a small pharmacy, where you will complete clinical screening, second check and oversee the dispensing team which consists of 4 other members of pharmacy staff.

Hours

Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm

Salary

This is a bank role with a salary of £35.00 per hour

Main duties of the job

As the Clinical Pharmacist your responsibilities will vary. You will:

  • Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service
  • Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensure a safe and modern medicines management service
  • Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
  • GPhC registered Pharmacist
  • Vocational Masters Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
