We are looking for people with the passion, talent, skills and experience that add up to a caring and community-minded workforce. We believe that the people we support have the right to a full and flourishing life and deserve the very best in delivery.

Our disability services across adult care, children’s care and education focus on inclusion and support. We are committed to professional, flexible and personalised care, going the extra mile to provide opportunities for people to thrive and live well.

About the Role
  • Provide support and encouragement by following direction from the person supported and the person‑centred support plan.
  • Maintain accurate records while at work in line with service requirements.
  • Administer personal care and medication where required.
  • Cover sleep‑in sessions and receive an additional £60 per sleep‑in.

We operate a range of Supported Living services in Conwy. Our services provide person‑centred, responsive support in their own homes. Support is available 24‑hour a day. Staff work closely with local GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists, speech and language therapists and community/learning disability nurses where relevant, ensuring tailored support.

Benefits of working at Shaftesbury
  • Great CIW reward: if your service is rated good or equivalent by CIW in all domains, all staff receive a £30 gift voucher; if rated outstanding, staff receive a £50 gift voucher (terms apply).
  • Recognition: nomination for a leadership team letter and a gift voucher up to £50 for exceeding expectations.
  • Excellent training package for all staff.
  • Accrued holiday paid: 12.07% of hours worked, up to a maximum of 5.6 weeks per year.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Employee assistance programme.
