Key Responsibilities

Manage and prioritise a paediatric inpatient caseload, including high dependency and critical care units.

Conduct detailed nutritional assessments and develop individualised dietetic care plans.

Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and evidence-based care.

Educate and support families and carers to promote adherence to nutritional plans and long-term wellbeing.

Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as required.

Contribute to service improvement initiatives and support student dietitians or junior colleagues where appropriate.

Qualifications and Requirements

HCPC registration as a qualified Dietitian (essential).

Minimum 2 years’ experience in paediatric dietetics, preferably within an acute children’s hospital setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective family and team engagement.

Full UK driving licence preferred, as the role may require travel between sites.
