We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Mental Health Clinical Lead Nurse to join the team at HMP Aylesbury, a unique and challenging environment within the Health & Justice Directorate. What you will do

Clinical Leadership: Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary staff team in the Prison Community Team, ensuring high standards of clinical practice

Care Planning: Oversee the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of individual care plans under mental health legislation

Staff Development: Ensure regular supervision, appraisals, and personal development plans are in place for team members

Clinical Governance: Actively participate in audits, clinical governance, care quality initiatives, and healthcare management meetings

Collaboration: Work with a range of internal and external agencies, including prison staff, addictions teams, probation services, and healthcare partners

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate electronic and written records (SystmOne, cNOMIS) in line with Trust and NMC standards

Managerial Role: Step in for the Mental Health Service Manager as needed, taking on additional leadership responsibilities
