Job description
Overview

We are recruiting experienced Band 6 midwives to join our Public Health Team for Mental Health and Substance Misuse within Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. Applicants must be NMC registered with an NMC PIN number. By joining our team you will bring your expertise to our maternity service and help women and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high standard maternity care for women with mental health or substance misuse problems and their babies across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.
  • Deliver a full range of health education, advice, support, psychological and social care to women with mental health and/or substance misuse problems.
  • Be responsible and accountable for the full range of care needs; develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period for women with mental health/substance misuse problems and their newborns.
