Job Description:
We are seeking a Band 6 Locum Dietitian to join our team in Nottingham. This role requires a professional who is HCPC registered and has the right to work in the UK. The successful candidate will provide expert dietary advice and support for adult patients, focusing on clinical areas including ONS (Oral Nutritional Supplements), Type 2 Diabetes, and IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Working one day per week. This position will run until 31 March 2025, offering an excellent opportunity for a dedicated dietitian to contribute to patient care in a specialised setting.

What your responsibilities will be for this Dietetics role?

As a Band 6 Locum Dietitian you will deliver comprehensive dietetic assessments and interventions for adult patients, specifically addressing needs related to ONS, Type 2 Diabetes, and IBS. You will create tailored nutritional plans and provide ongoing support and education to patients to enhance their dietary management and overall health outcomes. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals is key to ensuring integrated patient care and achieving optimal results. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, staying up-to-date with best practices in dietetics, and contributing to the development of departmental protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Dietitian
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant degree in Dietetics or equivalent qualification
