A leading community health provider in the UK is seeking a Band 6 Dietitian specializing in paediatrics. This role involves managing a caseload of children and families, delivering dietary advice and support through various means including face-to-face and digital communication. The candidate should possess HCPC registration, a relevant degree, and strong interpersonal skills. This part-time position offers flexible working options and is integrated into a supportive community health team in Harlow.
We are delighted to be expanding our team and are looking for a professional, confident, enthusiastic, team player who is passionate about working in paediatrics and contributing to our growing team.
This role involves seeing children and their families in community clinics, offering a mixture of face to face, video, telephone and email support to patients, GPs and other community health professionals, including the 0-19 Family Wellbeing Team.
TheChildren's Dietetic Teamis responsible for providing expert advice and support for children with food allergy, faltering growth, feeding difficulties, restricted eating including children with autistic spectrum disorder, micronutrient deficiencies, as well gastro issues such as, constipation, IBS and annual reviews for coeliac disease.
As well as providing dietary advice for a large range of nutritional needs, you will be expected to contribute to resources, audit and service development, as well as training for other health care professionals as necessary.

This role will involve working closely with the current Band 6 Dietitian and the Paediatric Lead Dietitian to develop the existing Community Dietetic Service.As a key member of theCommunity Dietetic Team, you will:
Work closely with the Paediatric Lead Dietitian to develop and enhance paediatric dietetic services in West Essex
Manage your own clinical caseload, providing specialist dietary advice to children and families
Receive clinical supervision from the Band 7 Community Paediatric Dietitian
