The Respiratory Intervention unit performs a variety of respiratory procedures, such as bronchoscopy and pleural interventions, to aid cancer diagnosis and symptom management of patients with cancer and other conditions. The nurse will be required to assist with respiratory procedures in the procedure room and to care for patients post procedure in the recovery area. They will deliver a high standard of patient care, which is patient centred and in consultation with the patient, their relatives and the medical team.
