A healthcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Clinical Services Lead Administrator to support the North Somerset Later Life Admin Team. The role involves managing diaries, arranging meetings, and providing administrative support to multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with Microsoft Office, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels. The North Somerset Later Life Admin Team are looking to recruit a Clinical Services Lead Administrator to support this busy team. The role will link closely with the Later Life Service Manager as well as additional Later Life staff and will involve line management responsibility.
They will provide administrative support, including diary and email management, arranging meetings, taking minutes and collating performance data for the wards.
We are looking for someone who is organised, able to work to deadlines with strong IT skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages. The post holder will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and have confidence in communicating with staff at all levels within the organisation.
As a team player, they will be able to prioritise their own work in order to meet deadlines and be able to work with autonomy.
To provide comprehensive administration and secret support to multidisciplinary teams, wards departments including named medical staff, junior medical staff and the system-wide multi-disciplinary team.
There will be an expectation for the post holder to be highly motivated, flexible and multi-skilled with excellent organisational skills. They will possess excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office systems including Word and Excel.
The post holder will be able to work to high standards and will be required to take personal details from people and upload onto the electronic patient record system (RiO). The post holder will need to meet deadlines, collate data and maintain standards relating to administrative processes. They will need to be able to work within a team effectively and share work streams where appropriate.
The post holder will be expected to line manage others and will provide support and guidance for matters that are escalated to them by Clinical Services Administrators. The post holder will be expected to work without direct supervision and manage their own workload.
The post holder will be key in maintaining diaries and arranging meetings, taking formal minutes and keeping appropriate records on the most up-to-date templates. Their work is managed rather than supervised and they are accountable for their own actions – manager is available for reference but generally, they will manage their own workload.
