Step Into a Role That Makes a Difference: Become a Hub Coordinator!

Assessment centre and interview to be held on 9 October. This event is invitation only for those shortlisted and moved to the next stage. The event will be held at Hilltop Hights, CA1 2NS. North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Hub Coordinators across ICC & Community Collaborative Hubs at sites including Cleator Moor, Maryport, Workington, Wigton, Carlisle & Penrith. Please state your preference on application.

Role and Opportunities

We are excited about these appointments because Hub Coordinators will make a positive difference for patients, their families, and the teams you will work with.

The recruitment event will be an excellent opportunity to chat with us, learn about the role, and determine if it is the right fit. You will understand what the role involves and have the chance to promote yourself without the formality of a traditional interview.

Responsibilities
  • Answer telephone calls as appropriate following service protocols.
  • Input and retrieve data using IT systems, ensuring information is recorded quickly and accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and callers while remaining calm in difficult situations.
  • Prioritise calls requiring immediate attention.
  • Recognise and action needs of callers and GPs requiring other services (e.g., Mental Health Crisis Intervention Team, Social Services and Third Sector).
  • Prepare reports and letters related to patient care.
  • Respond to enquiries from other services and patients, referring to team members as needed.
  • Provide general and administrative support to the team.
  • Arrange and support meetings, take minutes and/or action notes.
  • Collect patient feedback, comments and complaints.
  • Carry out health and safety tasks as directed by the Senior Hub Coordinator.
Qualifications and Requirements

Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for the essential and desirable criteria. The Trust is committed to safeguarding adults and children. The successful candidate(s) will be subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS may be deducted from salary where applicable.
