Job summary

Seymour John Ltd is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to drive new business across the UK, starting from a £30,000 base salary plus uncapped commission. You’ll own outbound sales, open doors with decision-makers in transport sectors, and build lasting relationships with clients in haulage, logistics, taxi fleets and driving schools.

You’ll join a growing commercial team, work with the Head of Sales & Marketing, and have clear opportunities for progression while benefiting from

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience in driver-related sectors is preferred.
• Able to generate and manage own pipeline with outbound prospecting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identifying and winning new B2B customers
• Building your own pipeline through outbound prospecting
• Calling, emailing and engaging decision-makers across the transport sector
• Developing relationships with haulage companies, fleet operators, taxi businesses and driving schools
• Following up inbound enquiries and converting opportunities into customers
• Growing existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling
• Managing your pipeline and CRM records
• Working towards ambitious activity and revenue targets
• Representing the business at networking events and exhibitions
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure a great customer experience
