Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting a Service Advisor for our Reading dealership. You will play a key role in delivering a great customer experience and keeping the workshop moving, with a base salary of £30,000-£31,000 and an uncapped OTE of £38,000.

The role focuses on managing bookings, understanding customer servicing needs and liaising with Technicians to ensure timely, accurate cost estimates and invoices.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience is required.
• Confident discussing vehicle repairs, costs and timescales with customers.
• Good understanding of workshop and aftersales processes.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs while keeping communication clear.
• Positive, professional approach to customer service.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer bookings and set clear expectations from the start.
• Welcome customers and understand servicing, repair and vehicle requirements.
• Liaise closely with Technicians and the workshop throughout the repair process.
• Keep customers updated on progress, costs and timescales.
• Prepare job cards, estimates and invoices accurately.
• Discuss servicing and repair requirements and identify additional work.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for collection when promised.
• Help deliver a smooth, professional customer experience from booking through to collection.
