Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Bolton is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy dealership. You will be the key contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a professional, seamless service from booking through to vehicle collection.

The role offers up to £28,000 base with uncapped OTE £36,000, Monday to Friday with a rotating Saturday morning schedule after training. You will upsell maintenance plans and work closely with technicians to deliver outstanding customer care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proven experience upselling products, services or additional work.
• Experience using Kerridge, 1 Link, Pinnacle or a similar Dealer Management System (DMS).
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks).

Responsibilities

• Managing service and repair bookings efficiently.
• Coordinating workshop loading to maximise productivity.
• Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process.
• Identifying and upselling additional work where appropriate.
• Promoting service plans, maintenance packages and special offers.
• Liaising closely with technicians and the workshop team.
• Ensuring all customer requirements are handled to a high standard.
• Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the journey.
