Holt-Recruitment in Basingstoke is recruiting an Automotive Service Advisor for a popular volume dealership. The role offers a salary up to £40,000 OTE with a base around £34,000 and benefits including training and accreditation.

You will work at a fast pace with a loyal customer base and opportunities for growth within the group’s academy. The position emphasises up-selling and excellent customer service, with the possibility of Saturdays on a 1 in 4 rota.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Admin / Service Advisor in the Motor Trade.
• Strong customer service and upselling abilities.
• Valid driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner.
• Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken.
• Sell additional products as appropriate to customer's needs.
• Advise on timescales and collection arrangements / Produce job cards on in-house computer system.
• Update customer and vehicle records / Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy.
• Preparation and completion of invoices.
