Gatwick Mercedes-Benz, part of Lookers, is recruiting a General Manager to lead a multi-site dealership team. You will drive sales volumes, profitability, and customer satisfaction while coaching managers.

The role requires strong people leadership and an intrinsic focus on delivering world-class service and brand standards. Ideal candidates will have GM-level experience, an excellent track record with teams, and a solid understanding of EV vehicles.

Qualifications

• Operating at General Manager / Head of Business level.
• Solid understanding of EV vehicles.
• Ability to draw the best performance from a team and build relationships with staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop a customer service driven environment through regular communication, team building and coaching with your teams.
• Communicate and maintain customer service standards and measurements in line with Brand requirements.
• Provide clear leadership by ensuring the vision and objectives for the business are understood and communicated.
• Train and develop department managers in line with organisational requirements.
• Agree objectives and work standards with department managers and review performance regularly.
• Develop and monitor the business plan for all sales areas with senior managers to meet objectives and margins.
