Job summary

A leading facilities management company is looking for an AutoCAD Technician to support their property portfolio transformation in London. In this short-term role, you will produce and standardise AutoCAD plans, ensuring precision and adherence to defined standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AutoCAD within property or facilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capability to work independently under tight deadlines. This role is expected to last up to 3 months and offers a competitive daily rate.

Qualifications

  • Strong AutoCAD experience within property, facilities, or built environment projects.
  • Experience producing drawings from limited information.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work to defined standards.
  • Able to work independently and deliver against a short, fixed timeframe.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and standardise AutoCAD drawings for the property portfolio.
  • Apply consistent layout, layering, naming, and formatting standards.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Project Team to prioritise and deliver drawings within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure accurate, well-structured CAD files are handed over at contract completion.

Overview

Following the integration of two tech companies, their property portfolio has expanded and requires creation and standardisation of AutoCAD plans. This short‑term role will support the Facilities Project Team in bringing site drawings up to a consistent standard.

Key Deliverables
  • Produce AutoCAD plans for sites where no CAD drawings currently exist.
  • Standardise existing site plans using an agreed CGI baseline drawing and format.
