Surveyors, Building Surveyors are required for a division of a major PLC that provides a range of services to help Government and social housing organisations manage their physical assets, improve community services and achieve sustainability goals. Services include social housing management, local government solutions, estate optimisation, sustainability initiatives (such as decarbonisation and net‑zero strategies), planning and building control and digital transformation to enhance resident and citizen experiences.

You’ll support the teams to continue growth in London and the South East with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects, including Technical Due Diligence and Forensic Surveying commissions, across different sectors. The team works in a hybrid style – a mix of site working (London and South East), home working and office working (North West London).

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assist with developing detailed briefs in conjunction with the client and senior colleagues
• Carry out site surveys (including measured surveys, condition surveys & defect analysis)
• Carry out design and specification work and assist with preparing tender information
• Assist with administering building contracts
• Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work (including Condition Surveys, Specific Defect Analysis, PW work, Dilapidations, Access Audits & FRA's)
• Liaise with Clients, Contractors & other consultants (internal and external)

Essential Skills & Experience

• BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent
• Ability to establish a good working relationship with Clients and colleagues
• Self‑motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Good AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
