Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) in Crewe is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy automotive dealership. You will be the key link between customers and the workshop, managing bookings, service and repairs from initial contact through to vehicle collection.

You will deliver a professional customer-focused aftersales experience, coordinate with technicians and the wider team, and ensure work is completed to high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and providing a professional service.
• Booking vehicles in for servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Managing customer appointments and workshop bookings.
• Keeping customers updated throughout the service and repair process.
• Preparing accurate estimates and explaining repair recommendations.
• Discussing additional work and recommending products and services.
• Maximising opportunities for additional sales where appropriate.
• Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally.
• Managing customer expectations regarding costs and completion times.
• Preparing job cards and ensuring accurate vehicle information is recorded.
• Ensuring all paperwork and records are completed accurately.
