Job description

This is a client-facing manager role based in the East Midlands office. Reporting to the local Audit Partner, the role will be focused on leading multiple audit assignments for the regional client base.

Client Details

A top 20 UK firm of accountants that has an expanding East Midlands presence, now looking to hire another Manager into their Audit team to aid this growth.

Description
  • Planning, resourcing and structuring assignments, reviewing audit work papers and financial statements.
  • Supporting the audit partner on ad hoc business advisory projects including Revenue and banking negotiations, restructuring support and litigation support.
  • Supervising trainees undertaking 3.5-year Chartered Accountancy training.
  • Achieving team budgets and agreed business planning performance objectives.
  • Maintaining strong technical and professional standards.
  • Thinking strategically about client needs by understanding their business and key risks.
  • Managing situations, identifying any issues before they escalates, and devising solutions.
  • Coaching, training and developing team members.
Profile
  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Minimum 5-7 years in external audit, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory/management role.
Job Offer
  • Salary up to £60,000
  • 25 days holiday, with the option to purchase a further 5 days. Not including Christmas shutdown
