Responsibilities
  • Manage a substantial portfolio encompassing large, technically intricate SMEs and OMBs across diverse industry sectors.
  • Oversee the entire audit process, including budgeting and adherence to timelines.
  • Strategically plan staff assignments, ensuring appropriate technical expertise and scheduling for client engagements.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of accounts and other deliverables prepared by Managers and team members.
  • Support Managers in providing constructive feedback and conducting performance appraisals.
  • Handle corporate clients beyond audit thresholds, managing complex issues such as cash flow forecasting and management accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal tax department on tax computations and corporation tax matters.
  • Assist partners & directors in various ad hoc projects, including corporate finance initiatives like due diligence and MBOs, and engage in business development activities to attract new audit and non-audit clients through proactive client management and participation in pitching processes.
Qualifications
  • ACA/CA/ACCA qualified.
  • Preferably holds Responsible Individual (RI) status.
  • Up-to-date expertise in UK GAAP, IFRS, ISAs, and Companies Act legislation.
