Butler Rose public practice are delighted to be working with a prestigious Top 20 City of London firm, who are seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager to join their team based out of ultra-modern offices in the heart of the City.

Role Requirements
  • Lead and deliver high-quality audit and assurance engagements across a wide range of sectors.
  • Manage client relationships, acting as the key point of contact for their audit, tax, and accounts needs.
  • Review and oversee audit files, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 102, IFRS, and ISAs.
  • Support partners in client delivery, as well as developing and mentoring the wider audit team.
  • Play an active role in business development, identifying opportunities to win new work and strengthen existing client relationships.
  • Maintain a strong technical edge, ensuring the highest quality standards across the department.
Person Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with 3+ years' post-qualification experience gained working for a medium-sized UK based practice (not a Top 6 firm).
  • Have proven managerial experience within audit and accounts, with exposure to tax (corporation tax knowledge is essential trusts/charity experience advantageous).
  • Be highly technically proficient, with strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, IFRS, and ISAs.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Be confident in reviewing files, leading teams, and ensuring robust, high-quality delivery.
  • Demonstrate strong IT skills, ideally with experience of CCH, Audit Automation, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
