A leading automotive technology firm in Coventry is seeking an Automotive Audio Engineer to enhance customer liaison and support automotive audio programs. You will conduct critical testing of audio systems, support demo car development, and contribute to the improvement of audio technologies. The ideal candidate will possess over 3 years of experience in automotive audio, knowledge of measurement tools, and strong skills in troubleshooting and project coordination.

Qualifications

About the Role

We’re looking for an Automotive Audio Engineer to support customer liaison activities, audio system testing, prototype development, and ongoing technical support for automotive audio programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical interface for customer projects, including meetings, issue resolution, and onsite support.
• Perform electrical and acoustic testing of automotive components in lab and anechoic environments.
• Support demo car development, proof-of-concept builds, and integration of new audio features.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audio technologies and system performance.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong understanding of vehicle acoustics and automotive audio systems.
• Experience with measurement tools (HA, AP, SoundCheck) and system-design platforms (MATLAB, MaxMSP, Audio Weaver, Sigma Studio).
• Knowledge of loudspeakers, audio electronics, and mechanical integration.
• Solid troubleshooting, documentation, and project-coordination skills.
• 3+ years of automotive audio experience.
