A leading educational institution in Loughborough is looking for a part-time Throws coach to join its Performance Athletics team. The role involves developing coaching programmes for university athletes and planning a Talent ID programme across local schools. To qualify, candidates must hold a level 2 athletics coaching qualification or show readiness to obtain one within a year. We are looking for a forward-thinking Throws coach to join our Performance Athletics team at Loughborough University.
With oversight from the Head of Throws you will develop coaching programmes for our University athletes and plan a Talent ID programme across the David Ross Education Trust (DRET) schools and Charnwood College.
You will contribute to our athletes competing in BUCS through individual coaching plans and input into our Throws recruitment and overall strategy.
The successful candidate will already hold a level 2 athletics coaching qualification, or demonstrate a willingness to achieve in the next 12 months.
