You'll lead efforts in providing personalized care for adults with severe asthma, including assessments, treatment plans, and education. We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated nurse to join our Asthma team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
This is a pivotal leadership position supporting the delivery and development of the severe adult asthma service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in all aspects of our asthma service, inpatient, outpatient assessment, the delivery of education bundles, treatment recommendations, multi-disciplinary team referrals and treatment evaluation, with a key focus on in depth assessment and management of adults with severe asthma that is not controlled by standard treatments. The development of personalized treatment plans, accessing specialized therapies such as biologic agents and monitoring effectiveness.
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, skilled, and innovative individual, with a passion for caring for patients with asthma, to join our busy, dynamic asthma service.
The NNUH Asthma service is led by Dr Sadiya Hand and Dr Malcolm Marquette and a team of experienced clinical nurse specialists.

The post holder will have the opportunity to develop and apply nursing knowledge and skills to improve the quality of care provided to patients with asthma and severe asthma.
