The Team

Join our Quality, Safety & Improvements Team, part of the central Ground Operations function. This team manages and sets the policies and procedures for safety, readiness, regulatory compliance, training, and continuous improvement in Ground Operations, supporting a safe and on-time operation.

The Role

As Assurance Manager, you’ll lead the development, management, and execution of the quality assurance programme for ground operations. You’ll ensure operational activities meet regulatory, contractual, and internal standards, and drive corrective actions to enhance service delivery and safety outcomes.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (EASA, UK CAA), internal policies, and contractual obligations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Support integration of new systems and processes, ensuring regulatory and internal compliance
  • Produce clear, actionable reports and dashboards for senior management
  • Attend and prepare for internal and external audits, leading documentation and evidence gathering
  • Ensure departmental manuals are compliant and drive improvements with leadership
  • Liaise with ground operations delivery teams, ground handlers, and partners to communicate standards and improvement plans
  • Support contract management through quality performance reviews and feedback
  • Promote a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous learning
  • Oversee departmental standards assurance programmes, Bird strike Management LTD Station assessments, DAQCP audit programme, and centrally contracted activities
  • Deliver the potable water policy with cabin appearance and Ground Ops teams
  • Respond to external audit findings and report on delivery of the GO GOS SLA
  • Act as relationship manager for Safety Culture
