Overview

Associate Planner – York planning consultancy. Sitting between the Senior Planners and the Head of Planning, the role offers progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied workload with current projects focused on large-scale data centres.
• Help broaden the client base and bring in work across other sectors.
• Support juniors and work closely with the Head of Planning to deliver complex projects.
• Act as a bridge between Planners, Seniors and the Head of Planning, coordinating between team members.
• Provide input that supports the consultancy\'s growth and future direction.

Qualifications

• Chartered Town Planner
• Private sector experience, ideally with recent experience leading projects and working directly with clients.

Offer and Environment

• Salary: £50,000-£65,000 depending on experience.
• 37.5-hour week with flexible hours; the only fixed in-office days are Mondays and Thursdays.
• Team structure: planning team of 6 within a wider consultancy of 21; you will be the bridge between Planners, Seniors and Head of Planning.
