A reputable consultancy firm based in Winchester is seeking an experienced Associate Partner Structural Engineer to manage their Structural Team. The role involves leading projects and teams, engaging with clients, and contributing to business development. The ideal candidate will hold a Chartered MICE or MIStructE qualification with significant experience in a similar position. Would you be interested in joining a well established, multi disciplinary property consultancy to assist in the running of their Structural Team in Winchester? The firm has been running for over 50 years, continually investing in their people, staying up to date with new technologies, and maintaining low staff turnover while delivering projects on time to high standard. The business has over 1000 employees across the UK. The work includes a wide variety of building structures projects, ranging from large complex schemes up to £200m, to small local client schemes. Work is both UK and international with clients such as F1 Teams, motor manufacturers, schools/universities, contractors, and developers. All materials are used, in particular concrete, steel, and long span steel structures.
This will be a senior appointment, where your responsibilities will include assisting with managing the structural team, dealing with clients, hands‑on design, taking responsibility for projects and budgets, and winning work. You will also be involved in business development, have financial responsibility for your team, and contribute to development and team growth.
You must be a Chartered MICE or MIStructE. Experience in a similar lead role is essential.
