Insurance & Compliance Associate - London - Hybrid - Salary up to £30,000

The idea candidate will have a solid background in working for an Insurance firm previously and has a willingness to move into a compliance and consulting role.

Note: This role extends beyond the specified duties, requiring adaptability and a willingness to embrace change due to the dynamic nature of the market.

Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly review and analyse client documentation, adhering to applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Address technical inquiries post-submission.
  • Transition from supported client visits to independent visits.
  • Stay informed about FCA and industry developments to deliver regular updates to the firm.
  • Assist in FCA authorization applications for various insurance, consumer credit, and mortgage firms.
  • Engage directly with clients to aid with technical queries and support application processes.
  • Acquire knowledge in consumer credit, mortgage industry, and the application of regulatory frameworks.
  • Exhibit awareness of both immediate and broader implications when implementing regulations in practice.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in law or a related field.
  • Possess extensive Insurance knowledge, ideally from previous experience of working within an Insurance firm.
  • Demonstrated solid understanding of regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient in numeracy, articulation, analysis, and all Microsoft packages.
