Job Title: Senior Associate - Fraud
Salary: £41,000 to £55,000
Location: Manchester City Centre (with hybrid working)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of suspected fraudulent casualty claims, including EL/PL/OL, motor, and other liability matters.
- Conduct detailed investigations into suspected fraud, analysing evidence, liaising with clients, witnesses, and experts.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and litigation strategies to support the defence of claims.
- Work closely with insurers, corporates, and self‑insured organisations to ensure cases are managed efficiently and in line with client objectives.
- Collaborate with legal, forensic, and technical experts to build robust evidential cases.
- Handle both pre‑litigation and litigated matters, taking cases through to trial when necessary.
- Participate in court proceedings, providing advocacy support where appropriate.
- Contribute to the firm's counter‑fraud strategy, supporting the development of best practices and preventative measures.
- Liaise with industry bodies (e.g. Insurance Fraud Bureau, regulators, law enforcement) as part of wider fraud prevention and intelligence‑sharing initiatives.
