Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate / Associate Director to provide technical leadership across bridge and civil engineering design and assessment projects in the UK and overseas. You will mentor junior engineers and drive project delivery to ensure quality on time and within budget.

Candidates should be Chartered Civil or Structural Engineers with proven experience in bridge design, maintenance, and assessment, plus familiarity with DMRB and MCDHW, Eurocodes, and design software.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer status is required.
• Experience leading design and assessment of bridges and civil structures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to design and assessment teams.
• Lead projects to deliver quality on time and within budget.
• Review projects to optimise solutions and coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs.
• Manage resources and develop relationships with other teams.
• Lead tenders and client engagements while controlling fees.
