WSP Global Inc. in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior/Principal Engineer to drive delivery of civil and bridge projects, ensuring the right quality on time and budget while mentoring junior teammates.

You will lead bridge design for UK and international schemes, supervise CAD technicians, manage project scope, and contribute to fee estimates, risk assessments and reports. Based in central offices with good transport links, you will work on rail and highways schemes for diverse clients, developing

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with bridge experience.
• Experience with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCDHW).
• Experience with Eurocodes in bridge design.
• Strong communication and client handling skills.

Responsabilités

• Bridge design, both in the UK and overseas.
• Bridge management and strengthening/repair, inspections and assessments.
• Support general civil and structural engineering teams.
• Prepare documents, reports and health and safety risk assessments, scheme designs and drawings, outline cost estimates.
• Prepare fee estimates and supervise junior team members.
• Mentor CAD technicians and junior staff.
