Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate/Associate Director to provide technical leadership across bridge and civil engineering design and assessment projects within the UK and overseas.

You will lead design teams, mentor junior staff, and manage resources, fees, and client relationships while ensuring quality, time and budget. Our Civil/Bridge team in the South West & Wales includes Cardiff, Bristol, Exeter & Truro offices with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with UK recognition.
• Experience in bridge design, maintenance and assessment on UK/international projects.
• Knowledge of DMRB & MCDHW for structural schemes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on bridge/civil design and assessment projects in the UK and overseas.
• Lead design teams, review work and mentor junior staff.
• Manage resources, fees and client relationships; oversee tenders and bids.
