Job summary

AECOM in Scotland is seeking an experienced Associate Cost Manager to support growth across key infrastructure clients. You will provide comprehensive cost management across the full project lifecycle, from inception and business case development through to project completion and commissioning.

You will lead cost control on major programmes, drive performance standards and engage with clients such as Scottish Water and Environment Agency.

Qualifications

• Experience using NEC4 contracts evidencing cost/ commercial management skills.
• Experience working in multi‑organisation, collaborative teams.
• Experience in client organisations or through secondment.
• MRICS qualification or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion.
• Maintain and develop professional standards and client relationships.
• Drive performance standards and technical excellence through clear communication and best practice.
• Develop relationships with clients and raise the firm’s profile as a premium provider.
• Mentor junior staff on technically complex projects.
• Identify marketing opportunities and assist Directors with following up leads.
