Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Associate Cost Manager to support major infrastructure programmes across Scotland, the Midlands and North of England, particularly water and environment sectors. You’ll manage cost across full project lifecycles, mentor junior staff and help win new business.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NEC4 suite of contracts (PSC, ECC)
• Experience in cost/commercial management within multi-organisation teams
• Experience in a client organisation or secondment arrangement would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver all aspects of cost management from inception through to completion.
• Maintain high professional standards and strengthen the firm’s profile with clients and contacts.
• Drive performance standards and technical excellence through effective communication and use of performance management processes.
• Maintain and develop good client relationships and promote the firm’s services.
• Support the internal team and mentor more junior staff on complex projects.
• Identify marketing opportunities and assist Directors and Business Development in pursuing new business.
