Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to support its Buildings & Places Infrastructure team across Scotland, the Midlands and North of England. The role focuses on cost management from inception through to completion, working with water sector clients such as Scottish Water and the Environment Agency.

You will mentor junior staff, drive technical excellence, and help grow the workload with Directors and the Business Development team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
• Accredited MRICS (or working towards membership).
• Significant experience in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying with track record in delivering major projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver all aspects of cost management from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with peers, Directors, and clients; perform feasibility estimates, cost planning, tender documentation, and value engineering.
• Mentor junior colleagues and develop team capabilities; identify business development opportunities.
