Job summary

British Heart Foundation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Hemel Hempstead home store to progress in store management and drive excellent service.

You will support the Store Manager with daily operations, lead staff and volunteers, and help deliver a great customer journey while working flexibly across 5 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays. This role is rewarding and customer-focused.

Qualifications

• Previous store/retail management experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work 5 days out of 7 including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey.
• Ensure highest standard of customer service and achieve targets.
• Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising.
• Maximise sales through physical and digital channels.
• Assist with recruitment and development of volunteers.
• Work with the manager to generate stock.
• Support campaign activities.
