Job summary

British Heart Foundation in Glasgow is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our home store team. You will support the Store Manager with daily operations and step in during their absence, ensuring the store runs smoothly.

You will inspire staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey, maintain high service and merchandising standards, and drive sales through physical and digital channels. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous store management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work across 7 days per week including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations and act in their absence.
• Inspire and develop staff and volunteers to deliver excellent customer journeys.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and merchandising.
• Drive sales through physical and digital channels.
• Assist with recruitment and development of volunteers.
• Support stock generation and campaign activities.
• Work with the manager to maintain a smooth running store.
