Job summary

British Heart Foundation in Guildford is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and run the store when needed. The role requires full flexibility to work across 7 days including weekends and bank holidays in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will lead staff and volunteers to deliver an outstanding customer journey, drive sales across physical and digital channels, and help recruit and develop volunteers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role is essential.
• Experience supervising a team is essential.
• Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service and retail standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with day-to-day running of the store and act in their absence.
• Inspire and develop staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards and maximise sales across channels.
• Assist with recruitment and development of volunteers.
• Support with stock management and campaign activities.
• Be flexible to work across 7 days including weekends and bank holidays.
