British Heart Foundation in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily running of the home store. You will help supervise staff and volunteers and ensure an excellent customer journey, reflecting our values.

The role involves contributing to targets, maintaining visual merchandising, and driving sales through in-store and online channels. Flexible across 7 days including weekends/bank holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Supervisory experience in a retail setting is desirable.
• Commercially driven with creative ideas for sales and engagement.
• Inclusive approach to developing teams and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations.
• Inspire and coach staff and volunteers to deliver excellent customer service.
• Contribute to achieving store targets and merchandising standards.
• Assist with recruitment and development of volunteers and campaigns.
• Work with the manager to manage stock levels and store windows/visuals.
