Berluti, the only men's Maison in the LVMH Group, was born in Paris in 1895 and has grown through four successive generations of the Berluti family, cultivating the art of excellence and craftsmanship in shoes, while developing a passion for leather and patina. In 2005, the Maison launched its leather goods collection and, in 2011, a ready‑to‑wear collection. Today, the collections of clothing and shoes, both made‑to‑measure and ready‑to‑wear, and a wide range of accessories, offer an innovative lifestyle while keeping the Berluti spirit.
Berluti is currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager (M/W) for our Conduit Store, located in London. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for managing sales, operations, and the Store team to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimal performance. He/she plays a key role within the Store, motivating and inspiring the team to achieve productivity and sales targets. The Assistant Store Manager embodies the role of Ambassador of the Maison, and must be reliable, disciplined, autonomous and enterprising. He/she must also possess excellent leadership and product skills.
Business and customer development
- Assist the Store Manager in leading and developing the store business, cultivating a comprehensive and strategic knowledge of the business, and building relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
- Optimize sales, meet, or exceed store objectives by monitoring KPIs.
- In agreement with the Store Manager, maximize the potential of all product categories offered in the store, capitalizing on all available supports (VM, training, CRM, events, …) and fostering synergies between categories.
- Work in partnership with EMEA headquarters teams and the Store Manager to identify key opportunities and best practices for the store.
- Promote customer loyalty to ensure quantitative and qualitative targets are met.
- Assist the Store Manager and team to ensure excellent customer service.
- Support the Store Manager in developing business and performance.
- Be a product expert and understand the business, the sector, and its trends.
Team leadership and management
- Support the Store Manager in promoting the spirit of the Maison through effective team communication.
- Create a supportive, positive, and inclusive working environment, empowering the team and encouraging innovative solutions.
- Work rigorously, energetically, and creatively, maximizing opportunities to advance the company's objectives.
- Ensure team development and training (individually and collectively) by sharing development plans with the Store Manager and HR team.
- Support the Store Manager in monitoring and managing performance and setting achievable and challenging team and individual objectives.
- Network with teams to share best practices.
- Communicate and embody the strategic vision, objectives, projects, and initiatives, ensuring that the team consistently displays the Maison values and behaviors.
Operations
- Ensure that operational procedures are communicated, understood, and implemented, while proposing actions for improvement. (particularly in the case of transactions, inventories, transfers, etc.).
- Control inventory losses and effectively support audits.
- Ensure synergy and cooperation between sales teams and back office.
- Ensure that the image of the store and the care given to the products comply with the Maison's guidelines and ensure the commitment of the teams in this respect.
- Assume responsibility for the health and safety management of the store alongside the Store Manager.
