Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking a Site Manager to support the Site Manager in delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality standards across Barratt Redrow sites.

You will coordinate trades, manage labour and materials, attend sales/build meetings and ensure customer service excellence while deputising as needed. The role blends office and on-site work within a hybrid setup and offers strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within established build programs.
• Assertive to ensure delivery of targets by the on-site team and trades/labour.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and/or qualified to NVQ level in Construction Management or a time served tradesman with considerable experience of the full range of construction trades.
• In depth knowledge of all aspects of the construction trade and the relevant legislative requirements e.g. Health and Safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations.
• Good knowledge, understanding and experience of dealing with all issues relating to Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
• Attend regular Sales/Build meetings with the Sales Team and inspect show homes.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required.
• Ensure the on-site team is resourced with clear responsibilities and training.
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with company guidelines.
