Job description
Overview

We are looking for a talented Assistant Shop Manager to work alongside the Shop Manager in our Tonbridge shop working flexibly across the seven day trading week.


Responsibilities


  • Day to day running of the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager.

  • Prepare and sort donations ready for the shop floor with a focus on gift aided donations.

  • Maintain excellent visual merchandising on the shop floor and update window displays in line with the seasonal/events calendar.

  • Assist in the management and development of a team of dedicated volunteers; prioritise workload and provide guidance and training.

  • Handle moderate moving and handling tasks.


Qualifications


  • Commercial or charity retail background.

  • Enthusiastic, passionate and driven to ensure every customer and donor has the best possible customer service.

  • Creative flare to maintain visual merchandising.

  • Computer skills required, particularly knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Age 18 or over.


Hours & Schedule

21 hours per week including Sunday plus 2 other days on a rota basis. 9:00 - 5:00 Mon - Sat 9-45 - 4:15 Sunday.
