With a large outdoor terrace, open fire kitchen, and garden bar, we’re building a flagship team to help shape one of London’s most exciting new restaurants.
Role Overview
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Pyro, you’ll be at the heart of our operation, working closely with the Restaurant Manager to lead the team and deliver flawless service. You’ll inspire and develop the floor team, uphold high standards, and ensure every guest leaves with an unforgettable experience. With a strong presence on the floor, you’ll balance hands-on service with leadership, organisation, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team with confidence, setting the tone for warm, polished, and professional service.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, including floor management, guest relations, and team coordination.
- Mentor, train, and coach team members, building confidence and consistency across service.
- Deliver engaging table touches, guiding guests through the menu with knowledge and storytelling.
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism, ensuring swift resolutions and turning challenges into positive experiences.
- Maintain strong communication with the kitchen and bar teams to keep service smooth, dynamic, and energised.
- Opening/Closing procedures
- Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and high-energy working culture.
